Investigation Of MiRNA-601 Expression Analysis In The Serum Of Patients With Lung Cancer And Mycoplasma Infection In Iranian Population

Mahla Ganjali

Objective: MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are endogenous, small non-coding RNA molecules that function in regulation on gene expression and have significant role in tumorigenesis. Programmed cell death-ligand 1(PD-L1) is a major co-inhibitory checkpoint signaling that controls T-cell activities, and is responsible in cancer production. The aim of this study is to examine the miRNAs and PD-L1 genes expression in patients with non-small-cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) . Materials and Methods: This is a molecular case-control study. blood samples were collected from 80 healthy people and 80 NSCLC patients. The expression ?levels of miRNAs and PD-L1 genes were evaluated using real-time polymerase chain reaction ??(qRT-PCR). ? Results: The results showed that There was significant difference in the expression level of miRNAS and PD-L1 in all of the disease stages. Conclusion: These findings indicate that serum PDL1 may serve as a potential non-invasive biomarker for NSCLC.
